Empress Effects Bass Compressor Pedal Blue

Empress Effects Bass Compressor Pedal Blue

Bring studio-quality dynamics control to your pedalboard with a compressor designed specifically for the extended frequency range and powerful transients of bass guitar. Its fully analog signal path delivers smooth, transparent compression that controls peaks and adds consistency without sacrificing the natural character of your instrument.

Dedicated attack and release controls let you shape how quickly the compression responds and recovers, while selectable 2:1, 4:1, and 10:1 ratios cover everything from subtle level control to aggressive limiting. The Mix control enables parallel compression by blending the compressed signal with your original tone, helping preserve clarity, punch, and low-end definition.

A switchable sidechain high-pass filter prevents deep bass frequencies from triggering excessive gain reduction. The external sidechain input provides additional routing flexibility, while the Tone + Color section can introduce harmonic character and shape the midrange response. Multi-segment LED meters provide clear visual feedback for input level and gain reduction, making it easy to monitor your settings in real time.
