The Shure BLX188/CVL is a dual-channel wireless lavalier microphone system designed for presentations, performances, education, houses of worship, and other spoken-word applications. It includes a BLX88 dual-channel receiver, two BLX1 bodypack transmitters, and two CVL cardioid condenser lavalier microphones for a complete, easy-to-use wireless setup.

The BLX system combines reliable wireless performance with simple setup and intuitive controls. One-touch QuickScan frequency selection quickly finds the best available frequency, while the BLX88 receiver's microprocessor-controlled antenna diversity helps maintain a stable signal. With an operating range of up to 300 ft (91 m) line of sight and up to 14 hours of battery life using two AA batteries, the BLX188/CVL provides dependable wireless freedom for a wide range of applications.
