In this silly and heartfelt picture book companion to Ooko, pampered pooch and self-proclaimed "prince" Ruthie has everything a dog could want in his "castle," but still longs to explore the outside world. After escaping, he quickly discovers that the wild is cold, hungry, and stinky, leading him to miss his "queen" and home.
