Thetis Island Treasure | Sapphire Ring

The Thetis Island Treasure Ring by Emma Glover was born from a beautiful detour in the creative process.

Originally, this piece emerged during the development of a custom ring inspired by a client who spends time on Thetis Island, British Columbia. While refining the design, Emma hand carved several variations of the ring. Rather than discarding the versions that did not make it into the final custom piece, she revisited them and transformed them into designs of her own.

“This ring design is a reminder of my gratitude for the process as much as the finished product.” - Emma Glover The result is a sculptural ring with an organic pebble texture reminiscent of ocean-worn stones along the shore. The split shank cradles a soft sage green sapphire that appears to float delicately between the two bands.

The design allows the stone to sit low on the finger while still leaving room to stack beautifully with another band.

A one of a kind piece that celebrates experimentation, nature and the quiet beauty of the creative process.

• Solid 14k yellow gold
• 0.60 ct sage green sapphire 
• The band is approximately 4 mm, fluctuating to 7 mm wide

• The ring is approximately 7 mm at the widest point
