Lady in Satin (Vinyle)

Recorded three years before her death, Billie Holiday's final studio album finds her voice ravaged by illness and hardship — and utterly devastating because of it. Ray Ellis's lush orchestrations frame Holiday's broken, expressive delivery in a way that has made Lady in Satin one of the most emotionally overwhelming records in jazz history. Columbia/Legacy vinyl reissue.
