The Hot Spot (4K-UHD/Blu-ray)

A drifter (Don Johnson) arrives in a small Texas town and falls into a dangerous web of desire and crime involving the boss's wife (Virginia Madsen) and a blackmailed bookkeeper (Jennifer Connelly). Dennis Hopper's steamy and atmospheric Southern noir, soaked in Miles Davis's blues score, is a slow-burn masterpiece of mood and menace.
