The Thin Blue Line - The Criterion Collection (Blu-ray)
$43.50
In 1976, Randall Dale Adams was convicted of murdering a Dallas police officer and sentenced to death — a conviction Errol Morris's documentary helped overturn. The Thin Blue Line is the film that invented the true-crime documentary as a genre: a methodical, brilliantly constructed investigation of a wrongful conviction that uses Philip Glass's hypnotic score, stylized re-enactments, and accumulated interviews to devastating forensic effect. A landmark of American nonfiction filmmaking that saved an innocent man's life.
