The House That Jack Built (Blu-ray)

An intelligent and meticulous serial killer (Matt Dillon) recounts five incidents from his career to an unseen interlocutor, reflecting on violence, art, and the relationship between creation and destruction. Lars von Trier's director's cut is one of his most provocative and formally inventive films — a mordant, philosophical horror that implicates cinema itself in its inquiry.
