Tangerine (Blu-ray)

On Christmas Eve in Hollywood, transgender sex worker Sin-Dee Rella (Kitana Kiki Rodriguez) storms out of prison furious — her boyfriend Chester has been sleeping with a "real fish" cisgender woman while she was locked up. Her best friend Alexandra (Mya Taylor) trails behind trying to keep the peace. Sean Baker's vivacious, compassionate micro-budget film — shot entirely on an iPhone 5S with an anamorphic lens adapter — crackles with speed, colour, and empathy.
