The Postman Always Rings Twice (1981) (Blu-ray)

Frank Chambers (Jack Nicholson), a drifting laborer, takes a job at a roadside diner and falls into a passionate, transgressive affair with Cora (Jessica Lange), wife of the proprietor. Together they plot murder. Bob Rafelson's frank, sensual adaptation of James M. Cain's 1934 noir classic crackles with dangerous chemistry — Nicholson and Lange are electrifying in one of the most explicitly erotic major studio films of the era. Script by David Mamet.
