The French Connection (Blu-ray)

New York narcotics detectives 'Popeye' Doyle (Gene Hackman) and Buddy Russo (Roy Scheider) pursue a massive heroin shipment being smuggled in from Marseilles. William Friedkin's visceral, unglamorous police procedural won five Academy Awards including Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Actor, and features one of the most celebrated car chases in cinema history. This Imprint Films edition presents the film in a new restoration with commentary by Friedkin.
