Boyhood - The Criterion Collection (Blu-ray)

Filmed over twelve years with the same cast, Boyhood follows Mason (Ellar Coltrane) from age 6 to 18 in a feat of unique cinematic longitudinal study. Richard Linklater's one-of-a-kind achievement — winner of the Golden Bear at Berlin — captures the texture and passage of time itself, the film accumulating an emotional weight that no conventional narrative could achieve.
