Experiment in Terror (Blu-ray)

A bank teller (Lee Remick) is terrorized by an asthmatic killer (Ross Martin) who forces her to steal money from her bank under threat to her life, while an FBI agent (Glenn Ford) races to identify the suspect. Blake Edwards's taut, atmospheric thriller — shot on location across San Francisco — is a model of suspense construction, photographed by Philip Lathrop in stark, shadowy black-and-white.
