The Gambler (1974) - Standard Edition (4K-UHD/BD)

A university literature professor (James Caan) addicted to gambling risks everything — his career, his relationships, his life — in a self-destructive spiral through New York's betting underworld. Karel Reisz's underrated 1974 character study, written by James Toback, features one of Caan's finest performances and an unflinching portrait of addiction as a form of existential recklessness.
