La Haine - The Criterion Collection (4K-UHD)

Twenty-four hours in the banlieues of Paris after a night of riots, following three young men — Vinz, Hubert, and Saïd — and a loaded gun. Mathieu Kassovitz's incendiary film — shot in stark black-and-white with a visceral energy matched only by its fury — is one of the essential French films of the 1990s, as urgently relevant today as when it won the Best Director prize at Cannes.
