Tootsie (Blu-ray) - The Criterion Collection

A difficult, unemployable New York actor (Dustin Hoffman) disguises himself as a woman named Dorothy Michaels to land a role on a daytime soap opera — and unexpectedly becomes a feminist icon, a better man, and deeply, hopelessly in love with his co-star (Jessica Lange). Sydney Pollack's perfectly crafted comedy — nominated for ten Academy Awards, winning one for Lange — holds up as one of the funniest, most thoughtful films of the 1980s. New 4K digital restoration for Criterion.
