Daisies (Blu-ray) - The Criterion Collection

Two young women named Marie decide that the world is corrupt, and so they will be corrupt too — embarking on a series of absurdist, nihilistic escapades involving food, men, and gleeful destruction. Věra Chytilová's anarchic masterpiece of the Czech New Wave is one of the most radical feminist films ever made: a kaleidoscopic, formally dazzling assault on bourgeois conformity that was promptly banned by the Czechoslovak government upon its release. Now presented in a new 4K digital restoration.
