2001: A Space Odyssey - Original Soundtrack (Limited Edition) (Vinyle)

Stanley Kubrick's radical decision to replace a commissioned score with pre-existing classical recordings resulted in one of cinema's most iconic soundscapes. This Elemental Music reissue (2023) presents the original Deutsche Grammophon album in a deluxe limited gatefold on 180-gram virgin vinyl, faithfully reproducing the original artwork and credits. From Strauss to Ligeti to Khatchaturian, it is equally at home as a classical sampler and as a piece of cinematic history.
