Elevator to the Gallows - The Criterion Collection (Blu-ray)

A meticulous murder goes perfectly according to plan, until the killer gets trapped in an elevator. Louis Malle's debut feature is a taut, moody noir anchored by Miles Davis's legendary improvised score and Jeanne Moreau wandering the rain-slicked streets of Paris, searching for her lover.
