Fanny and Alexander - The Criterion Collection (Blu-ray)

Bergman's swan song to cinema follows young Alexander Ekdahl as he navigates the contrasting worlds of his theatrical, life-embracing family and the cold, repressive household of his new stepfather. A monumental summation of a career: part fairy tale, part family epic, suffused with ghosts and magic and the consolations of art.
