The Mookadagan, or Crooked Knife, is a traditional carving tool used by Indigenous artisans for generations. This handcrafted version features a double-sided curved blade, making it ambidextrous and suitable for both left- and right-handed use.

• Blade: Double-sided edge, ideal for controlled pull-cuts

• Handle: Hand-carved wooden grip with wire wrapping for comfort

• Length: Approx. 8 in (20 cm)

• Use: Perfect for shaping paddles, snowshoes, and detailed woodwork

More than a tool, the Mookadagan carries cultural significance as an essential part of traditional craftsmanship in Eeyou Istchee and beyond.
