Vintage 1969 Nautical Sailor Helm Award Statue Bronze Finish, 9.5 in.

Vintage 1969 nautical award sculpture featuring a sailor at the helm, mounted on a wood plinth with engraved presentation plaque reading “The 1969 Charger Award for Leadership in Life.” The figure has a bronze-tone finish and is signed on the base in a Rubechini-style script.

This piece has strong mid-century decorative appeal with its maritime theme—ideal for coastal décor, office display, or collectors of vintage awards and nautical memorabilia. While often mistaken for fine bronze sculpture, this example is a cast decorative award piece typical of late 1960s corporate or club presentations.

Condition shows age-appropriate wear, including surface scuffs, patina variation, and light wear to the base and plaque. Structurally solid and displays well.
